Spring treatment: We will assess the condition of your lawn and apply a balanced fertiliser suitable for the cooler ground temperatures of the early Spring months plus we will start to treat broad leafed weeds such as dandelions, daisies and clover.

Early Summer treatment: A controlled release fertiliser is applied to concentrate on developing a healthy, thick sward giving a lush feel to the lawn. We will also apply a selective weed killer to any more problem weeds.

Late Summer treatment: We use a high potassium feed to encourage hardening of the grass plants prior to the onset of Winter. At this time we will either treat for any persistent weeds or begin to control any moss starting to grow dependent upon the weather conditions.

Autumn/Winter treatment: A liquid fertiliser is applied to enhance the colour of the lawn, further harden the turf and also provide a control for moss growth.

We also offer other services designed to address more specific turf problems:

Disease/Pest control: We are able to deal with a wide variety of issues including Red Thread, Fusarium, Dry Patch, Leatherjackets (larvae of Cranefly/Daddy Longlegs), Chafer Grubs.

Hollow tine Aeration: The most effective way of reducing sub-surface thatch and compaction by removing thousands of cores from the lawn. This encourages growth by pruning the grass roots as well as allowing nutrients and moisture to reach the root zone.

Scarification: This is the removal of thatch and moss that builds up on the surface of the soil and begins to adversely affect the appearance of the lawn. The removal of this layer helps promote a more healthy turf. Overseeding will often be necessary to encourage a full recovery of the lawn.
